Rectifiers

Industrial rectifiers can remain in service for many years, while control boards, semiconductors, cooling components and other supporting parts age at different rates. When a rectifier develops faults, unstable operation or communication problems, ETSCO can review the exact equipment, symptoms and available documentation to help define a repair, refurbishment, controls or replacement path. Reusing a serviceable assembly may also reduce material waste when the technical condition and project requirements support that approach. Inverters

Inverter systems may also be described as variable frequency drives (VFDs), variable speed drives (VSDs) or adjustable frequency drives. Their configuration and function vary by application, so an accurate review starts with the manufacturer, complete model, ratings, fault history, connected equipment and available schematics. Overheating, contamination, failed cooling, aging components and incomplete maintenance records can all contribute to unreliable operation.
